This logo is a proposal for the call to design a logo for Mashhad city which was chosen as the capital of the Islamic culture in 2017 on behalf of ISESCO (the Islamic Scientific, Cultural and Education Organization). The logo was selected as one of the 70 proposals which were exhibited in Iranian Artists Forum. In this logo, I have used Kufic script and Islamic fretworks to refer to the historic city of Mashhad as an Islamic center and the city of martyrdom of Imam Ali ibn Musa Al-Reza.
